WA Grevillia’s with busy bees!

I was out and about yesterday when I noticed a heap of very busy bees doing their stuff on some flowering Grevillia’s…something a little different in any case! πŸ™‚

Might be different but nice though I love stuff like this bringing back to nature love it πŸ˜‰

  2. Thanks Brett…yes there is always something if you look around eh!

  3. I like the top one Mark – pretty cool and a better composition IMO πŸ™‚

  4. Yep I think you’re right my man!

  5. Tried to do a similar macro shot of our flowering chive plants yesterday. For lack of a proper macro lens I hand-held my 50mm 1.8 in front of the camera in reverse. The results were quite… er….artistic looking due of the non-existent depth of field. I think yours turned out more professional.

I prefer the top one too Mark πŸ™‚

I like the way the background fades out to a brighter colour drawing the eye up to the top of the flower and then you suddenly notice the bee lower down which adds a bit of a story to it πŸ™‚
