One of the things I have enjoyed about living in East Freo these days is that you are closer to the action.
I noticed a Channel 7 chopper hanging around the harbour when i got home and the curiosity got the better of me to investigate…with trusty camera on hand of course!
It became pretty evident that the Sun Princess was about to depart and the conditions could not have been better. Nice and glassy and some beautiful soft lift to boot.
These are gorgeous, Mark!
Thanks for teh positive feedback Dan and Eden. I also like the last one Dan!
That first shot is a cracker. Also liking the last one.
Dan
Love the last one…really shows the scale…
Yep, that’s my fav as well Peta, for the same reason! π
The first one for me.
Thanks Peter.
The one with the harbour cranes is really cool. A bit different from the standard cruise liner shot…. During our summer months I often see the Sun Princess sister ships docked here in Rotterdam, just a short walk from where we live. But unfortunately they usually leave way before sunset, so I’ve never managed to get great shots like these.
Hi Armand
Great comments, thanks for that!
You know I have only just realised that you are not in Perth!
For some reason I always thought you were at least in WA somewhere!
It just how close the world is these days with the Internet eh!:)
Interesting π
Nope, I’m not in Perth, but I’ve been there quite a few times and have a special affinity with WA in general. Would have joined you for a photo walk if it weren’t for the 18 hour flight π
I am hearin ya Armand!
I asked for a good reason not an excellent one! π
Cool set of images Mark – great tones π
Coming from the Toneman…that’s cool mate!
