Lone Avon Tree

I took the bride out to Wilyunga National Park today to capture some Avon shots before the big decent.

It was a perfect day out with beautiful filtered light coming from high clouds enabling me to capture the detail without getting the contrast.

Stay tuned for more as I work them up!

  1. I like this one the best from the Avon river shots I think. Nice feel and balance to it IMO.

  2. That soft, filtered light on a cloudy day is one of the things I love about this area. Quite different from the light we get here in Europe. The smoothness of the water works nicely with the crisp textures of the tree. Interesting to see a tree standing in the water like that…

  3. Yes indeed Armand…I too love that sort of light as well and actively look for it!
