Here is another image from my Freo walk around the other day. There are a number of things I like about the image including the door slightly ajar, the arrows on the road and the look on the building exterior>

I like all the things you have mentioned but the colour tones are what make it for me, really nice.
Why thank you Peter! π
very nice mark …. nice very subtle hdr look ..
Thanks Neal…yep the practice is paying off eh!
sure looks that way π
I don’t mind this one myself. My only comment is I wonder if it should have been a little more square on as the building looks a little curved to me, I guess it’s a wide lens.
I was beginning to think you had succumbed to something , you’ve been quite. π
Thanks Merv
Been a bit busy lately is all!
Yep I like it. Might be a silly thing to say but I like the fact there is no sky in it either as it draws all of my attention to the building.
Thanks Jamie…I actually went out of my way to not get sky in the shot, so well picked up!
I love what you’ve done with the post processing (HDR?), and a good subject for it too. Looks like a setting out of a computer game.
HDR it is Charlene, glad you liked it!
A yep – definitely mate !
A definite cuddle for you then Toneman!:)
Aww… thanks mate, looking for some lovely female cuddles atm π
Ahhh but Markie cuddle are gold mate! π
Oh I’m not saying they aren’t ! I just would love some of the other ones as well π
Might have to start a new TV show mate…Photographer needs a bride! π π
haha – Very true mate ! Funny you should mention TV though, as a while ago I did an interview for a photography TV show – it’s meant to air in Melb in Oct !
A movie star now as well Tone! They must still be getting around to calling me I am sure! π
I’m sure they are mate, CF is stealing all the glory over there perhaps…
But a man’s gotta do something ! Maybe when you come over and visit next you can also bring over one of those lovely WA girl π
Looks good to me, like the door ajar!
It does seem to tell a story. Someone left the building (leaving the door open) and followed the arrows. But which way did he turn, left or right, we’ll never know… Or maybe I’m just getting carried away here π
Thanks Tim and Armand, I guess that is what shots line this are supposed to do eh!
Entice imagination!
Very very nice marky!!…. the texture on the building looks perfect!!
Thanks Clint…and dennnnn!:)
Simple and pleasing…I agree with Pete, really like the tones.
It’s nice to be back and have some time to catch up in blogland….off to Pete & Mervs blogs now. xx
Nice to hear from Travelling Sandy! Hope you are having a fat time there girl! π
Just popped back home for a short intermission….Daves mum had a stroke but making a great recovery…will be heading off again when everything is back to normal.
Sorry to hear that Sandy, but pleased to read that she is on the mend and the adventure can carry on!
I love, love, love this Markie. More of this look please. Not to contrasty and a really interesting scene.
Thanks little buddy…yep I kinda like it as well eh!
Needs a good subject now! π
