Lower Melaluka Falls

This is an 8 image stitch taken downstream of the previous mega stitch I did on the other side of these falls.

We had a very pleasant few hours in this area and the funny part was when I lost Christian and Tom Putt! They went off exploring much early that I did in the meg stitch area and I thought I saw them trekking around to this area.

As it turned out, they were actually both waiting for me under a ledge around the corner. Lucky my whistle can be heard for miles! 🙂

I like that,Mark! Did you use a big ND filter to produce that nice milky waterfall ?

    • Thanks Peter, yes indeed, it was shot with the Big Stopper ND.

I was running out of time when I shot it so did not go to the normal detail I would have done with time.

If I had the time, I would have done the shot without the ND, focus stacking as I went, and then simply done the water parts of the shot with the ND and dropped them back in later.

That would have saved the tree movement.

  2. Ha Ha…thanks Tim! 🙂

  3. Nice composition mate, love the water streaks near the cliff down stream from the falls.
