Mangrove City!

This image is so typical of the Mangrove forests found in the Kimberley.

On this particular afternoon, Christian Fletcher, Jenny and I grabbed a tender and went off exploring to see what we could find and ended up covering quite a distance in the Prince Frederick harbour.

  1. Mangroves are fascinating and beautiful, although they are rather hard to get your fishing lure out of again. It never happened to me but I witnessed it on our fishing boat πŸ™‚

Actually at one point in thick mangroves we managed to secure the tender totally. In 3 different directions, Ken, Greggy and I got lures stuck, basically tying down the tender pretty good leaving it up to Cookie to get us out again πŸ™‚

  2. Now that sounds like some fun! It looks outer worldly with that full looking tide.
