Talbot Bay Mangrove

Backlit Mangrove-B&W

Backlit Mangrove-desat

I need some assistance with this one!

Black and White or Colour?

We went for a bit of an explore in Talbot Bay on this evening and during the first pass the trees were much further out of the water, but it wasn’t long before the incoming tide started to change the outlook considerably.

Fortunately I picked this one off before the flooding tide destroyed my scene too much!

Colour for mine. I like the light on the green follage at the left, and that works better in the colour version.

I’m viewing the images on my phone so not the best view but the colour image jumps out as I like the different shades of green on the left.

  3. Looks like the colour has it so far Troops! Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Interestingly my wife agrees….kinda proves her theory that she is always right i guess! πŸ™‚

Colour for me Mark, it takes a really special Mono to turn me on. I can still remember my first roll of colour film and the effect it had on me , like waking up for the first time and seeing the real world.

  5. Showing your age a bit there Ric! πŸ™‚

The unfortunate part is I can remember that time as well….doh! πŸ™‚
